This year's Big Bang is a champagne beer with pomegranate syrup and raspberry juice. A refreshing beer that has a delicious harmony between malt, hops and fruit. The fruits come into their own nicely and give a lovely freshness.

Copenhagen 5/1 2020. 50 cl bottle from Beerlivery Webshop. Very festive orange label with Flying stars resembling fireworks.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin, lumpy, frothy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass.
Aroma is intense and combines sweet, sugary berries with tart sourish odor of pomgranate. Sweet raspberry, sugar and sweet malts. Lighter odor of tart unripe berries and pomgranate. Acidic odor of bile rummaging in the background.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor has a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Well balanced and fruity but I can’t shake the unpleasant odor of bile in the background.
