Copenhagen 28/1 2020. 50 cl bottle from Beerlivery Web-shop. Very dark label in the brewery’s usual design with very red raspberry.

Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass.

Aroma is intense with a burst of coffee and sweetness and with a more subdued odor of berries. Brown sugar, molasses. Black bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Gentle lightly tart odor of raspberries.

Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, smooth and soft texture.

Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a medium strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is strong and bitter-sweet. Lightly boozy finish.

Fine combination of berries and a heavy stout. Fat, boozy and tart at one and the same time.
