Brew 800 is a strong Imperial Stout, which is infused with coffee, vanilla and then oak-aged with port wine. When this black beer is poured into the glass, you are greeted by a beautiful brown head. An incredibly complex beer with many lovely flavor nuances. The beer is brew number 800 at the brewery in Bringstrup.

Copenhagen 29/6 2020. 33 cl small heavy glass bottle from Vild med Vin web-shop. Simple striped label in green, orange and black with what looks like the checkered flag used at racing events.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small, beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet odor mingling with a lightly smoky and spicy scent. Caramel, cough drops and brown sugar. Roasted - almost burnt - malts. Sugary sweet, dark, liquor. Hints of tobacco, peat and leather.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, soft, sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is potent and intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter and burnt undercurrent. Lingering.
Heavy, sweet and bitter at the same time. Truly a beer to sip.
