Copenhagen 20/6 2020. 50 cl bottle from Vild med Vin web-shop. Jet black label with golden writing. Binary numbers hustling in the background.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patches of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong sweet, sugary odor and some more bitter notes peeking in. Brown sugar, syrup, caramel. Lightly roasted dark malts. Dark bitter chocolate and coffee.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, soft, smooth, creamy texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and potent. Lingering. Finish is sugary with a boozy burn.
Heartwarming, potent and strong imperial stout.
