Porter with 3 types of smoked malt A new product from Det Lille Bryggeri Smoked porter is added with 3 types of smoked malt. The smoked malts used are the powerful Scottish peat-smoked malt, known from smoked whisky, the lighter German rauch malt and finally a Belgian Whiskey smoked malt. Smoke and black malts are the base of this wonderful smoked porter. A lovely beer for connoisseurs of this unique and exciting beer style.

Copenhagen 1/8 2019. 50 cl bottle from Høkeren, Ravnsborggade, Kbh N. Det lille Bryggeri's usual label design in dark blue-green and black with some curling smoke.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big beige head. Bubbly. Settles as thin ring of foam running alongside the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is dark, sweet and smoky. Strong odor of smoked malt. Licorice, salt, peat, light roast. Light touch of Whisky.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery and very lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Notable salty flavor in there. Aftertaste is bitter and salty. Lingers with a peaty note. Lingering.
Very nice and rich smoke-bomb dripping of peat and licorice.
