Copenhagen 23/2 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Rødovre Centrum. This one seems to be brewed at Amager Bryghus. Vaughn Bode inspired drawing of heavily armed girl with naked breasts on the label. Seems to be a beer brewed in honor of the Danish Hip Hop Outfit Rockers By Choice (which must be considered ancient at this point).
Pours murky amber with small white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is dominated by a fruity hoppiness supplemented by a weaker but notable sweet maltiness. Citrus, pine and Grape fruit with a more subtle odor of caramel.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, lightly prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet balanced by a medium bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a solid sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Quite well balanced and agreeable beer for a beer with a half-naked harpy with a machine gun on the label.
