Copenhagen 6/4 2026. 44 cl can from Best of Beers chasing out the Christmas beer supply from 2025. Can in Det Lille Bryggeri's usual design in a red version with a candy cane thrown in.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam funning along the sides of the glass. Almost no lacing.
Aroma is set and dark with malts and alcohol mingling with spice and dark fruit. Dark roasted malts, resin and plums. Cinnamon, brown sugar and a touch of cardamom and anise.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, a bit viscous, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a surprisingly light sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sour streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
A ship laden with spices.
