Brewed in collaboration with the Beer shop Fish & Beer.
Hop Explosion is a delicious Double IPA with plenty of malt and American hops. The color is light golden with white head, and the aroma clearly indicates that this is a beer with a large hop profile and good depth. The taste is full-bodied with a good harmony between malt and hops, as well as a long and pleasant aftertaste of citrus notes, where the hops are dominant.
The hop types used in Hop Explosion are Warrior, Zeus and Simcoe. Simcoe is used in large quantities for dry hopping. IBU 110.

Copenhagen 21/3 2015. 50 cl bottle. Farewell present from former colleague. Very dark label with a cartoonish version of Einstein is riding a rocket armed with two beers.
Pours hazy golden brown with a persistent white head. Settles as a 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sharp and fruity. A mix of sweet fruits like peach, mango and berries and tartness. Some alcohol in there as well.
Soft carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
The fruity sweetness is more subdued in the flavor which is dominated by a dry bitterness and distinct boozy alcohol lingering in the aftertaste.
A more suitable name could be "Booze Explosion".
