Dreon is a light artisanal Italian witbier, straw yellow in color. The birra almost sparkles with naturally occurring carbonation culminating in a brilliant white froth. With an aromatic hint of white pepper and yeast on the nose, the soft mouth feel presents a pleasant zippy finish of refreshing sourness melded with a touch of coriander and dried orange peel. Brewed with crisp mountain spring water sourced directly from the Italian Dolomites at the base of Meni’s brewery in Cavasso Nuovo, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, this birra will transport you to the storied region of Pordenone. Essence of the Italian artisanal birra revolution with a true sense of place.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of wheat are present in the nose along with hints of lemons.
T: The taste follows the smell and has slight hints of peppers lingering into the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink. I liked tHe subtle bits of peppers in the finish, which got a little stronger as the beer warmed up.

The beer comes in a light straw color.
The aroma offers doughy malts, sweet orange peel, honey, floral coriander.
The flavor offers grainy malts, dry, a wheat flavor, coriander spice, floral throughout, onto an earthy bitterness and aftertaste. Dry on the palate with wonderful effervescence.
