It may not be a "bottle shop" but it does have more than just BMC.

Convenient if you are staying in Duck. Better selection at Harris Teeter in Pine Island or Chip's in KDH if you don't mind driving. Decent selection of NC brews- Mother Earth, Natty Greene's. ALWAYS the first stop when I get to town.

I stopped by prior to grabbing dinner at the best pulled pork around at Duck Deli. Wee Winks is a convenience store with, like most NC stores, beer and wine.
Quality: The beer is in coolers and end-aisles at the far side of the store. As a convenience store, there is plenty of food and sundries to go along with the booze. Gas too, just in case you need it.
Service: My only interaction with staff was on check-out, so nothing big to report.
Selection: The selection included a few New Belgium offerings (as a PA resident, it is weird to see something like NB here but not in the Keystone State), DFH, OBX Kolsch, Flying Dog, Stone and a decent stock of BMC products. For the most part, the beers are in six- or four-packs although there are a few singles to be had. It doesn't have the stock or variety of a grocery store but in a pinch Wee Winks works.

Wee Winks is the only convenience market located in Duck Village. Its been there forever. When I 1st started coming down to the OBX, Wee Winks only carried your standard beach type beers, BMC, Corona, Landshark, etc... Not now. The store has all the convenience items you need until you can make it out to the bigger grocery stores (Harris Teeter, Food Lion). At the back of the store is the beer section. Still plenty of beachy type beers but also a very nice selection of micros, both local/regional and national. Plenty of Mother Earth, Highland, Duck Rabbit and Carolina offerings as well as beers from Stone, Founders, Bells, Victory, Terrapin, DFH, Flying Dog, Allagash and others. Also, a decent selection of imports like Duvel, Boddingtons, and Chimay. Prices are a bit high, but thats the price of convenience. Overall, a pretty good place to pick stuff up for you 1st stop in town.
