Mill Creek Brewery

I've been here alot because of its proximity to McCoy's, but everytime I come away wondering why I stopped in. This is a normal bar trying to market some hastily produced brews. The brews are an overlooked aspect of this bar and therefore tend to be bland without intriguing tastes or notes to keep you wanting more. Bud Light dominates in this place as well as a young crowd. The food is average. I do find that the bands they bring in here are better than at McCoy's. Among most people in the KC area this place is known as simply a bar first and not a brew pub.

Literally across the street from McCoy's Public House this pub has some major competing to do. Word is that the younger crowd likes to hang out here in the evenings to drink and dance. The place is clean and really slow during the daytime hours. The tanks are right up front against the window. My server didn't speak much English which sucked because of the only 3 beers on tap she couldn't understand which one I wanted to drink. The food was pretty good for lunch grub. I prefer McCoy's but this one isn't bad.
