Deep copper to light orange in color with a lot of haziness. There's a half inch of creamy khaki colored head resting on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of woodsy oak and pine. The taste is closely in line with the aroma with a very dominant oaky flavor with a deep piney hop burn at the back of the palate. The mouth is a bit chewy, thick, and there's a faint mineral hardness.

Pours a cloudy copper. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of caramel malt, sweet malt, alcohol, citrus hops, slight piney hops, earthiness, and hint of tea. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. The bitterness level is quite high. Tastes of alcohol, sweet malt, caramel malt, citrus hops, slight floral hops, earthiness, and a hint of tea. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, great blend, good body, but too bitter.
