Picked this up a few years back, somehow this is the first review for the beer on BA. Hermitage has some wildly varying results, so this could be proverbially hell or high water.
Pours a familiar dark gold yellow starting to lean into light amber, light chill haze essentially to it. I guess the "clean spin" name comes from using a centrifuge here. Doesn't really make a difference appearance wise. Its decent enough. 1/3" white head. About the best dry hop aroma this crew has ever done, they've generally struggled in the hoppy aroma department historically. Cascade, Columbus (Day today) and Simcoe give a pithy dry bitter plus weed note.
The taste is decent, also exceeds expectations, light grapefruit rind, orange rind, a litte bit of weed and pine to it. The mouth feel is really well done, this is almost 10% but drinks easier. Hermitage often trended in the opposite direction, hotter than you would think, so this is nice. Only bought one can, but the price was right and the product was good, so check it out.
