Deep and hazy, crimson brown. Ample head with light, creamy stickage. Welcome sediment sure to add extra flavor.
Light and clean aroma up front. Organic spruce leaves and pine needles creep in. Subtle berries.
I believe this is a blonde ale but I am getting a lot of darker malt notes almost like a brown. Blackberry is well pronounced. Cherry sweetness. Charred wood. Earth and leaves. Rustic funk. Quite sour. Extremely well balanced.
Medium body. Solid carbonation. Dry finish. Plenty of texture.

Pours a hazy, mahogany color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong bacterial funk, fruit, wood, alcohol, hint of hop, and slight liquor. Fits the style of an American Wild Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a strong tartness. Tastes of strong bacterial funk, fruit, wood, alcohol, hint of hop, and slight liquor. Overall, full bodied, complex, quite tart, rich, and the liquor is a nice addition rather than a dominate flavor.
