Big thanks goes out to my doppelganger for sharing this one! Served from bottle into a Bell's stemmed tulip. Poured yellow-orange with a one finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, floral, citrus, floral hop, and caramel. The flavor was of sweet malt, citrus, floral, caramel, and very subtle caramel hop. It had a light feel on the palate with mild carbonation. Overall this was an okay brew. The bottle said this one was an IPA. Based on the flavor and aroma, I would not have picked this one as an IPA. Maybe an American Pale Ale, but definitely not an IPA. The hop character on this one was just lacking way too much in my opinion. Not terrible, but just fell short of what IPAs should fall under in my opinion. Tick.
