Deep, rooty dark black color. Head is a plump 2 fingers of beige head.
Aroma is a literal strawberry milkshake. 5.
Flavor is coffee forward with hints of roasted barley, and a finish of sweet strawberry chunks and lactose. It is not overly sweet, I am not expecting it to be, but it's also not too bitter. It's a very good balance.
Feel is roasty, slightly toasty, nice medium carbonation, slightly dry finish.
Overall, a good coffee stout with lovely lactose-strawberry-milkshake notes on the finish. Would have/trade for again.

Poured from pint can to nonic pint glass. Cola colored with a Finger of mocha foam. Aromas of roast malt, char, cocoa powder, fresh strawberry. Flavors of roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, sweet strawberry jam, and lactose, with just a touch of sour notes. Clean finish. Semi-creamy mouthfeel

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 4/2/2018. Pours crystal clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1-2 finger dense khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big juicy strawberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, cream, toffee, marshmallow, toasted dark/brown bread, light coffee/smoke/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberries, dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and cocoa nib notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy strawberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, cream, toffee, marshmallow, toasted dark/brown bread, light coffee/smoke/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal/roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy strawberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, cream, toffee, marshmallow, toasted dark/brown bread, light coffee/smoke/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and cocoa nib flavors; with a nice roasted bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited milk stout. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and cocoa nib flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Really rich feeling for the ABV. A lot of authentic strawberry flavor well balanced with the base beer. Never overdone. A highly enjoyable offering.
