Literally a cup of coffee brewed with beer. After fermentation is complete, the beer is cold press brewed with locally roasted coffee beans from The Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Co. This velvety smooth sweet stout stands out in a crowd with a mouthful of intense, rich, roasted flavors.

Pours a brown color with a foamy tan head that lasts quite a while. Aromas of coffee, vanilla and a hint of chocolate. Taste is sweet with coffee, and vanilla up front. A hint of chocolate at the end. Creamy and smooth.

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 6/11/2019. Pours crystal clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, toffee, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, cocoa, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, toffee, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of nutty coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, toffee, toasted dark/brown bread, light molasses/dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, cocoa, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a nice roasted bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent milk stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, cocoa, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Great balance of nicely rich malts, cocoa, lactose, and fruity/nutty coffee complexity; with mild fruity yeast and earthy hop presence against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
