I got a can of this beer from a mixed Christmas holiday 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had subtle coconut and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with Mounds bar flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Probably my favorite milkshake stout in the series, yet. Pours a beautifully cola color with a finger of white fizz quickly reducing to a thin ring. Nose is milk chocolate, coconut shavings, and bitter coffee. Taste follows suit with a strong toasted coconut and milk chocolate overtone. Like a liquid almond joy or chocolate/coconut cake. Feel is silky smooth but not cumbersome, I imagine due to the low ABV. Great beer.

A- Pours a little on the thin side with a fizzy head that doesn't really retain well, leaving only a thin ring of tan colored bubbles swirling around the top of the liquid. The beer itself is somewhat clear, more of a dark brown than the expected black/brown and the lacing is also pretty much non existent. Not an overly exciting looking offering....
S- Huge toasted coconut covered marshmallows, bounty chocolate bar, mocha coffee, dark cocoa nibs, rummy boozed raisin hints, walnut nuttiness, caramel sweet malts, brown sugar (cooked) and even some deeper darker molasses richness. The finish is yeasty, cake like and is simply of a German Chocolate cake!
T- The flavors follow suit to the aromas quite well, with the dominating tastes of toasted coconut, vanilla marshmallow chocolate, muted coffee, hints of coconut cream pie, German chocolate cake, some dry biscuit, vanilla bean, walnuts and heavy cream. The finish lingers in a robust fashion, with perhaps some black malt bitterness just showing up to help balance things out.
M/O- Light in body, and the carbonation is quite zesty, similar in fashion to a cola.....it is not quite what I was hoping for in this department but it is alright at the same time. The drinkability is medium....I couldn't have more than one can in a sitting, however, I find it very delightful and the alcohol ends up hiding itself quite well! Another winner from Rochester Mills!

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 6/23/2020. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy very dark reddish brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of coffee, molasses, toffee, dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of coconut, dark/black/roast/bready malts, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of coffee, molasses, toffee, dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, brown bread/crust, coffee, molasses, toffee, dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of coconut, dark/black/roast/bready malts, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with an awesome hop/roast bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an awesome flavored milk stout. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of coconut, dark/black/roast/bready malts, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/charred/drying finish. Great soft/silky feel, flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of big authentic coconut flavors and nicely rich malts; with nice earthy hop presence/balance, and restrained fruity yeast. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on English style example as expected. This certainly has a lot more coconut flavor than the German Chocolate Cake version, but not artificial feeling at all.
