Its a sugar bomb. Much too thin for my taste in stouts. Definitely salty, so I guess if you like that maybe you'll enjoy this. Didn't get much caramel flavor. Just a very sweet beer with salty undertones that was about as thick as a light lager.

A - Pours a pullman brown, thin with some clarity and a huge pillow of airy head that disappears rapidly. Not much retention at all.

S - Vanilla, caramel, milk, burnt marshmallow, malts.

T - Loads of sweet caramel, chocolate, vanilla, bitter in the back end.

O - A bit sweet for my liking without much depth, but decent and worth a try.

Notes Part of the 12 days of milkshake stout Christmas sampler

16 ounce can, looks like a best by date of 06/20/21 stamped on the bottom of the can, part of the 2020 12 Days of Milkshake Stout sampler pack. Served in a Spiegelau stout glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is very sweet, it smells mostly like salted caramel along with some cream. Taste pretty much follows the aroma. The salted caramel flavor is dominant, but there's also a bit of cream and chocolate noticeable too. Aroma seems sweeter than the taste if that makes any sense. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and has a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, glad I was able to try it! Recommended more if you're into sweeter tasting brews.
