Pours with little head. So much raw coffee bean on the nose. Love the fact a local coffee roaster is used. Dark, thin and packed with smooth cold-brewed coffee goodness and a creamy finish to boot.

16 ounce can, best by date of 06/25/21 stamped on the bottom of the can. 2020 vintage as part of the 12 Days of Milkshake Stout sampler pack. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, roasted malt, cocoa and some cream. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt. Coffee stands out but doesn't overpower the other flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, recommended if you like stouts and/or coffee beers.
