A- Pours a dark brown color, and seems to have good clarity and smooth carbonation. The head is a dark caramel/toffee color and is creamy, about two solid fingers in thickness and settles down to a patchy film over top the liquid. The lacing is watery/oily and doesn't really cling to the inside of my glass, so overall not a real interesting look to this one.

S- Huge sugary sweet maple syrup....amazing! Fresh packed brown sugar, huge vanilla bean, dark toffee/cooked caramel, milk and dark chocolate sweetness/richness....I can literally taste the dessert like quality after having a long, slow smell....right at the back of my throat...never had this happen before! Secondary aromas of whipped cream, custard and marshmallow follow in right to the end of the smell....superb!

T- Alright, the flavors follow suit to the aroma, but thank goodness it isn't nearly as sweet as the smell suggested.....easy going maple syrup sweetness, vanilla bean, whipped cream, caramel, toffee, cooked down brown sugar, butter tart, pie crust, cocoa/refined dark and semi sweet chocolate, which leads into the finish of creamed coffee, mildly charred dark malts and a slightly bitter black tea finish....this isn't cloying like one could think before actually trying it out, but very dessert like overall.

M/O- The body of this one is medium I would say, and the carbonation is relatively smooth....the alcohol is well hidden behind all of the sticky sweetness too! Surprisingly, for me anyhow, this is a decently drinkable sweet stout and I would probably enjoy more than one of these in a session before moving onto something more quenching....maybe its the sudden cold weather that's making me enjoy this but I do quite like it! Thumbs up and hope to find this in a Christmas pack in the future again!

I got a can of this beer from a mixed Christmas 2021 holiday 12pck of stouts that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had maple sugar notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with fresh maple syrup presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Pours a thin, dark maple-tinged brown. Strong maple notes on the nose. Cocoa notes on the start and serious, maple flavor that linger on the finish.

16 ounce can, best by date of 06/27/21 stamped on the bottom of the can. 2020 vintage as part of the 12 Days of Milkshake Stout sampler pack. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about an inch tan head that stayed around for a little while. Not much lacing at all. Aroma is nice and sweet, the brew smells like maple, cream, chocolate and roasted malt. The taste is just like the aroma, it's mostly sweet but not too sweet tasting, and there's a slight roastiness in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, definitely one for the maple fans!
