From the 1pt16floz can in a snifter. This solid little milk stout
pours a dark brown highlighted murky black with a nice head of
khaki foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin layer, and sports
some nice lacing. Nose of coconut cream, dark chocolate,
toasted malts, and faint coffee with char and roast. Flavors follow
the nose nicely with coconut, coffee, dark sweet chocolate, moderate
char, and faint cream. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth,
moderately coating, rich, light carbonation, and a rich, full, sweet
finish.

For a sweet stout it hits the mark.....truth be told, the only thing
it is missing for a black forest cake is cherries.

Cheers

16 ounce can, best by date of 06/21/21 stamped on the bottom of the can. 2020 vintage, part of the 12 Days of Milkshake Stout sampler pack. Served in a Spiegelau stout glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stayed around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coconut, chocolate, cream, and burnt/charred malt. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but with more of a dark chocolate flavor than a milk chocolate one. Reminds me of a dark chocolate coconut cake. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, worth picking up if you come across it!
