At best resembles a burnt marshmallow. Had others where I felt I was sitting at the fire, not this one

I got a can of this beer from a mixed Christmas 2021 holiday 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is leaving some lace. The scent had toasted marshmallow and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dark chocolate malt base with marshmallow and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

A- The coloration of this one is of a murky dark brown....I think there is a large suspended yeast presence but cannot be sure....there are very slight mahogany hues when held against the light. A huge dark brown head that starts off thick, foamy, dense, but does settle quickly into a thick film over the beer, leading into a sticky film of lacing that clings decently to inside of the glass, creating small shapes. Carbonation appears to be wee tight when I hold the beer at an angle and look at the rim.
S- Huge heavy sweet caramel, and intense vanilla....both artificial extract sweetness, alongside freshly procured Mexican vanilla bean pod, with seeds scraped out and ground into vanilla paste and bottled swiftly......simply put, it's lovely! Sweet cream, yeast, pudding, chocolatey notes, cooked demerara brown sugar, dark toffee, toasted marshmallow softness, charred malts, cookie dough.....oooooh, this is delectable on the nostrils!
T- The flavors follow suit very closely to the aromas, but with more Earthy charred dark malt than the smell lets on. Initial sweet sticky marshmallow flavor, intense vanilla bean, milky chocolate, vanilla creme, heavy dairy cream, biscuit dryness, charred brown sugars, slight nuttiness, rich dark toffee/caramel, astringent ashy chocolate and black malt bitterness that lingers long after the finish in somewhat cloying fashion.....it is robust overall that is for sure!
M/O- Medium bodied, and at times feels like it leans towards full, it is a fairly heavy stout. The carbonation is relatively soft, which provides the beer to really show off the range of sweetness and balancing char/malt character.....as this warms, it increases in intensity and I find becomes heavier on both the palate and in the belly....it is truly a dessert beer that I'm guessing is a caloric nightmare lol.....it is so good however that I'm not worrying about it, and after my last review from the milkshake calendar, I am very happy and feel this one is in true RM fashion! Cheers!
