De 32gp. En copa Teku. Jugando a Slat the Spire y luego viendo Cristal Oscuro 1x07-08. Al principio la acidez parece suave y contenida, pera a medida que va uno avanzando en ella se va volviendo mas excesiva y cansina

Came highly recommended by Ken at Crafted, so let's see how it stands up. Some juice from one of the big Belgian Lambic breweries, don't remember which one.
Pours no head, but a bit of legs, semi clear with a bit of haze and light sediment, medium to lighter golden tan color, slight amber hue
Nose is quite nice, lots of funk, barnyard notes but more souring bacteria funk, cheesy funk, with lots of generic fruit and a little tart lemony, bright acidity, nice buttery oak and a little toasted oak note, bit of stone fruit somehow like tart apricots
Taste is more of the awesome characters, fairly lambic like with fair amount of cheesy funk, big bright acidity and souring bacteria, little barnyard earthy funk too, light fruits lemony tartness and more stone fruit like tart apricot and a little peachy, mild gristy, light buttery toasted oak, a bit of bitterness too, dry mild flemmy finish with acidity and a little funk lingering, the more I drink the more teh bitterness gets on me and I'm bringing the taste down from 4.5 to 4.25
Mouth is med bod, lighter carb but acceptable, good acidity
Overall pretty good, nice lambic like funk and sour acidity, nice fruits, a bit of bitterness that gets a little icky, but otherwise good, doesn't quite stand up to the Belgian greats, but still quite nice

Bottle bought at Liquor Shed. 2014.
Pours a hazy peach colour, 1 finger head of foam with a hard pour. Does well with the lacing.
Smells of apricots, very acetic, funky, sour, like the fruit pits were ground in..leading to some bitterness.
Taste is oaky, full of apricot sourness and bitterness thanks to what I said above..like the pits were ground in. Funky like a monkey, woody, all around very pleasing.
Light body with adequate carbonation.
Damn I dig this! $19.99 for the bottle. Worth it.

a very very special beer, cantillon lambic blended with some amount of pale or wild pale or something, and aged in oak, extremely expensive and hard to come by, but well worth it if you are lucky enough to come across it. the glass bottle is insanely heavy, they arent messing around here. its got not much head or carbonation to it, appears orangish apricot color in the glass, and has this incredible lambic nose. its funky for sure, loaded with wood, fruit esters, and bacterial sourness. it tastes super mature to me too, woodier than many, and with a sharp dryness about it. flavors of white wine, floral oak, vanilla, golden raisin, and light melon in here, with a lemon character to the bacterial profile and a brilliant brett strain or combination of strains, fully wild tasting to me and really striking a chord with the wood. fuller bodied than a lot of lambic types, that must be the pale aspect, and quite hoppy as they go too, which i would assume the same for. i wish it had more carbonation, i always wish that when i drink still or mostly still wild beer, but the flavors here are of unrivaled depth and it really adds a nice series of layers into an already complex lambic. sour and farmy at the same time, and somehow clean in the end with all the funk. fancy beer, special beer, and worthy of a bachelor party, if thats what you should so choose to do with it. 2012 bottle date.

Orange color with just a few transparent bubbles. Aroma has intense lambic funk with damp cellar and wood notes. Even a bit of balsamic vinegar. Taste is quite weird. Lots of lambic funk, really earthy, dusty wood bitterness. Light body, no carbonation. Really weird beer. I expected a sour but it's just flat, funky and bitter.

Tough one to review. Smells like lambic, tastes of little but diacetyl.

From a bottle, pours a clear orange color with almost zero head.
The nose is tart, lactic acid, good barnyard funk, a little berry, funky cheese. The flavor is a bit thin, muted, I would have loved more content. A little grain, hay, wood pulp, but pretty boring. It is not as tart as the nose lets on.
This is good, easy to drink, simple, but a bit boring.
