Thanks to Brian for picking this up for me while he was in Brno, Czech Republic. Thick, pitch black pour with a gorgeous two finger caramel-colored head with good retention and lacing. Big roasty nose with lots of dark chocolate along with hints of espresso, licorice, toffee, brown bread, and subtle smoke. The taste is bold and complex with hints of espresso, dark chocolate, cocoa, leather, molasses, roasted coffee, brown bread, oats, milk chocolate, nuts, vanilla, and rye. The mouthfeel is very well balanced, velvety smooth and creamy with a bitter sweet finish. Overall, this is a very solid and flavorful stout with huge drinkability. Highly recommended!
