Had this on tap at the brewery. The beer had a burnt orange appearance with thin lacing and retention. Aromas included a mild, floral malt and citrus flavor; a tiny bit grassy too. The drink was mildly bitter with a light malt taste. Medium body. Overall, I liked the appearance of the beer the most to this beer.

Draft pint at the brewpub tonight. So apparently it's not retired.

a: Translucent amber with a half finger white head which receded to an even surface foam film and spotty lacing.

s: Very mild citrus.

t: Resiny hops forward over a good solid malt base. Bitterness lingers on the tongue but not offensively so.

m; Moderate, good body.

o: An above average hoppy, malty IPA. I believe the menu described it as a Pale Ale. Perhaps its being reborn rather than resurrected, but this should please any hophead, it approaches DIPA levels of hoppiness. ABV as listed on the menu was about 6 %.

Draught: Their description had this listed as a "hybrid" IPA. It seemed to be a fairly standard IPA. The color was a clear golden. It had very little head, and very little lacing. It had a somewhat lighter aroma of pine and grapefruit. This had a medium body, with a fairly pronounced hop taste. It was somewhat dry and actually had a bit of sweetness in the aftertaste. Re-rate (12-2011): They now state that it is a "Hoppy Pale Ale" in the menu. Doesn’t appear to have changed much at all. Taste is mainly pine and some grapefruit hops.
