I'm not always a fan of fruit beers. This one, however, is quite exceptional. It's mostly clear with a slightly pinkish hue, perhaps from the raspberries. The smell also has fresh raspberry and blackberry. The berry essence is more subdued in the taste, which is more dry, grainy, and refreshing as opposed to cloyingly sweet or overly fruity. Highly recommended.

While at the northampton brewery had some during dinner.

A- There is a dark amber color with a 1.5 to 2 finger head. Looks really good.
S - Wheat beer with a fruity scent. Very slight hop note. Strawberries are noticeable also.
T - Wow this beer is really good and very refreshing. You can taste the strawberries really well and a slight hint of raspberries. The strawberries are much more noticeable.
M - This is a very very smooth beer. feels good in the mouth.
D - This beer could be consumed all night or as long as it is available. Light and refreshing. Will drink again.

described on the board: "Graduation Ale - A light bodied wheat beer fermented with fresh raspberries and strawberries"

color is heavy peach and cloudy. thin crown, bright and summery in appearance. smell is some malt, some hops, not much fruit. taste follows suit. more citrus from the hops than the fruit essence of the berries.. what they serve to do it add a dimension of sweetness and light acid to an otherwise smooth ale. finish is wheaty and light.. not much but a slight bitterness lingers.. and i mean slight.

this is a fun beer, very drinkable with lots of flavor to appreciate. also good for crazy grads who want to have 16 pitchers. not sure of the abv, but it felt low. the second lightest beer on tap there out of 12-13.

happy graduation 2005!
