Draught in Northampton: this one pours a cloudy amber color. There is just a trace of an off white head, yet still leaves some lacing. The nose is a bit lighter that expected. Some malts, but mainly hops. Grapefruit is predominate. The taste if good. It has a pretty good hop bite to it. A fair amount of malts and grapefruit hops. A bit tart. Nice.

A - Beer was a nice hazy amber-red color with a nice finger of tan frothy head. The head had excellent retention and left behind some nice lacing.

S - A mix of sweet malt and some nice light hops. Also a bit of grassy/piney aroma also mixed in. Overall a bit subtle.

T - Starts with a sweet malty flavor with some slight hop bitterness present. The citrus hop flavor grows through the middle of the beer. Towards the finish, the sweetness from the malt is the strongest with a finish that combines the sweet malt and the bitterness of the hops. Very well balanced.

M - Medium to medium-light bodied, and even a slight bit watery. The carbonation was about average. The finish was slightly dry which gave the beer a very crisp mouthfeel.

D - Very drinkable. A bit more hop than an average red, which is really nice. THe balance between the hops and the malt is really nice. Very crisp and refreshing overall.
