Gave the stout a try when visiting this brewpub. Was presented with a deep black color and had a smallish tan head that broke down quite quickly. The aroma seemed quite basic with roasted malts, coffee and some chocolate but they are hard to pick up. The taste also, very basic, is fair. More of a sweet flavor to me than what I would expect from a dry Irish stout. Unfortunately this brew was a letdown as it just did not have much of any character to it.

on tap at the brewery. poured a dark brown to black with small tan head. aroma all weak, chocolate roasted malts, tried to get something else but I couldnt. flavor just like the aroma weak roasted malts, and chocolate. not impressed with this one I have a lot better stouts than this one. this would be the beer the bud drinks could say that they like dark beers and make them feel worldly.
