A light brown/orange color with no head. Very light on the spices, which is good when you consider other pumpkin beers are too heavy on the spices. However, the beer doesn’t have much of a flavor outside of some hints of pumpkin spice. Disappointingly bland.

t - toasty and sweet with a dank, herbal hop character. faint spicy notes. light bitterness in the finish.
m - medium with the right amount of co2.
o - pretty enjoyable overall and fits the style. would certainly order it again.

I had this with dinner at the brewery tonight.
Served in a pint glass with no head. The beer was a very clear orange with no head. The glass left no lacing.
Aroma was all sweet malt. There was also a bit of graniness.
Upon first sip I was overwhelmed by sweetness. There are also some roasted flavors going on here. There is really no hop character, which is appropriate for the style. This oktoberfest is smooth on the palate and leaves a sweet aftertaste. The 6.7% ABV is noticeable in the flavor, which definitely doesn't help the drinkability or flavor.
I have come to expect decent beers from this brewery but this one was kind of a let down. It was much too sweet, very unbalanced. I don't think I'll try another one of these this year, maybe the recipe will be different next fall.
