This one poured a dark amber color, though it looked light next to the Royal Oak Red sitting next to it. Head was insignificant.
Had a sweet, almost fruity smell. There were a lot of fruit peel flavors in this one and it was very reminiscent of a wheat beer. The amount of flavors even made the beer feel somewhat chewy, even though it was actually pretty clear and smooth. The flavors were perfectly blended and hid the high alcohol level nicely.
Not much bitterness in this one. It left a good crisp aftertaste and it was easy to drink.

This is another one of Royal Oak Brewery's rotating releases. Actually, I'm not sure if they're going to brew it once, once a year, or make it a regular beer there but it was in the position at the south end of the bar where the "experimental" beers usually reside. Therefore once it's gone it'll probably be replaced by something else. Hopefully their barleywine. But anyway, The beer was dark ruby-brown with a moderate tannish head. It had a sweet-smelling malty aroma. It had a sweet toasted malty flavor that hid the 7.2% alchol content rather well. I didn't really detect any other flavors other than a carmel type sweetness. The cigarette smoke from the guy next to me at the bar probably didn't help much but I tried to take in what I could. I thought the beer felt a little flat. It could've used a little bit more carbonation. But it was easy to drink for a 7.2 percenter. Two pints on an empty stomach before dinner made me respect it.
