on tap as of 2-3-2012, served in a pint glass.
a - hazy amber in color with a thin film of off white head. leaves thin leggy lacing in my glass.
s - carmel and spice. maybe coriander and nutmeg?
t - carmel malt with a light clove or nutmeg like spiciness. faint herbal hop bitterness on the back of the tongue and faint alcohol taste in the finish.
m - heavier side of medium with lighter carbonation. fine co2 profile. slight alcohol warming.
o - pretty enjoyable overall and certainly one of the better royal oak brewery beers. nice and warming. pairs well with their jerk chicken sandwich. recommended.
