On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, candied citrus zest, earth, and dirt aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, earth, and tea leaf flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of earth and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is very earth, dirt, and tea forward all around.
