On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, grapefruit juice, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, earthy hop, and perfume flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but the hop presence is slightly better in the smell to me.
