On tap at Wolf Creek Brewing in Valencia, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange-red with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thick foamy ringss of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and some slight herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with a medium herbal hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the smell is fairly mild in my opinion.

Tried this for the first time today. I don't believe that it was served at the right temperature. Could have been colder. Taste was a bit too metallic. Mouthfeel and finish were nice. The alcohol content was a bit high and felt that one pint was enough...or maybe I'm just a lightweight. So so overall, will try a different one when I go back to Wolf Creek.

This is a great hoppy American Red Ale. The smell is citrus hop and slightly sweet caramel. Good hop and malt balance. The hop bite is my favorite part. Great after taste not too bitter. I will be ordering this again for sure.
This might be my favorite Wolf Creek brew.

A fairly clear mahogany/red brew with an exceedingly thin skin of foam where a proper head should be. However, the crown of foam does cling well to the edges, providing nice sheeting.
Smell is citrus hops and a faint caramel malt note.
Beer is oddly sweet with a watered down flavor. Bashful malt gives way to grapefruit and long lasting bitterness. Faint soapy note as well.
Mouthfeel is slightly thick, under carbonated and dry. There is a slight CO2 tingle upon first entry.
I struggled to finish the pint and I will not order this one again. Unbalanced and unfocused.
