On tap at the NH Brewers fest. 4 oz served in a small glass poured a deep golden amber color with a thinnish off white head that slowly dissipates to a cap. Smells of sweet caramel malt with some earthy floral hoppy aroma. Sweet malty flavor with lots of caramel and bready malts and a bits of earthy floral and citrus hop flavor. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. This is a nice beer, slightly sweet and malty for the style with just enough hops to keep it from cloying. I never got to try the original beer, but I was assuming that i had a bit more hop presence than this rendition . Nice easy drinking beer, but not to the level of today's IPA's
