22 oz bottle, just to try (dug the name), from the Beer Junction in West Seattle. Poured into pint glass.

Pours a nice dark tea color into an off-white 1/8" head with interesting snap, crack, pop perforated lacing. Body is a deep golden brown amber hue with caramel tint. Haze and sediment are present.

Smells of almost caramelized, piney hops, sweet malts, sort of an oak or wood like smell.

Malt is definitely prevalent in the initial arrival on the taste buds, again hops and caramel arrive in the aftertaste.

Feel is bright and tasteful. Colorful on-bringing to a fast, wet finish. Crisp yet smooth.

An interesting, damn malty amber from a modest brewer in my adoptive home state of Washington. Glad I could add a beer and enjoy one at the same time.
