Appearance:
Pours a murky dark brown with some orange, adorned by a 1/2" tan tight head.
Aroma:
Roasted caramel malts with some coffee notes predominate, with little to no hop presence.
Taste/Mouthfeel:
Super smooth mouthfeel with a nutty/coffee flavor that nicely masks the 8.5% ABV. Slightly dry finish, but overall an enjoyable brew that is worth seeking out again.

The folks at the Offshore table at ABF were amused when I walked up in my kilt and said 'I think you know what I want'.
What I got was a cup full of a lovely ale with a brown-sugar colour, accented with hints of orange..
The smell had a light molasses undertone, covered by hoppy goodness and just a little aroma of malt.
The flavour proved not quite as hoppy as the smell suggested- and the taste seemed just slightly thin. Overtones were banana, peach, and citrus.
The body was not watery at all, but was still a bit thinner than I expected.
Very pleasant overall- and one I wouldn't mind drinking again.
Be well
