Pours a dark mahogany with red appearing at the edges, topped with a one finger off-white head, rings of lace appear, break and remain as bits.
Caramel and earthy aroma, very fresh. Red fruit - apple skin?, butterscotch.
Toffee and toasted bread in the taste, good herbal taste and bitterness, a small touch of a chocolate or coffee taste.
Light-medium bodied, smooth, good session beer with a lot of flavor for the ABV and style.
