Appearance This one poured a clear orange in color with a small but retentive head.
Smell The light, super-sweet caramel malts were loaded up with some big Saaz hops (at least thats what they smelled like) and the standard array of Belgian spices.
Taste There are some big flavors in this BSPA. The hoppy citrus notes are unusually strong. Theres also a big hoppy Pilsner-type of flavor. The malts are sharp, heavily toasted, and soaked in caramel.
Mouthfeel This medium-bodied ale is a crazy ride in the mouth. The big sugars will get you smacking your lips and the solid malt middle is almost chewable. The sharp, dry kick at the end is a real shocker.
Drinkability This one has everything but the kitchen sink. The alcohol was masked quite well and the flavors will bowl you over like a freight train.
