Brewer's notes:
"Aged in an Early Times Whiskey Barrel (first time with beer) on cranberries for 1 month. Then removed from the fruit and transferred into a 3-time used Early Times barrel for 4 months. So subtle is the fruit. So woody is the finish."
This one is a nice honey colour, with a tinge of orange.
The smell is almost medicinal, with bits of spice and apricot.
Flavour seemed to have two layers- the top was very pointed and spicy, while the bottom is very round and fruity. The wood tends to come through, but not the cranberries. Your taste buds may pick up differently than mine, however. :)
Seems very airy and fumy in a sense, with bits of the fuminess having a similar quality to a rotting peach. That makes it sound a bit unpleasant, but it isn't, really.
Body was light and a bit thin.
Enjoyable, but not the best I've had.
Be well

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
