Angelic white head is small and creamy, laces a bit, and sits atop a body of rather clear light gold. Smell is minerally mellow spice and a good-quality pale malted barley, hidden by very little, standing nearly naked but proud and sweet. Flavor continues that very natural graininess with a firm bitterness that provides a nice contrast to the malt and serves as its backbone. Hints of apples and pears. Thin and smooth, crisp and clean. This is a very enjoyable beer that fits a light, refreshing style without compromising integrity. Very nice.
