Poured from a pitcher into a nonic pint, this produces a copper color with a textbook, offwhite head, lacing and all. The carbonation provides some liveliness to bring it all together.
The aroma for this style of lager is typically clean and soft, but the pitcher arrived with strong aromatics before I even brought it to my nose. There is a little bit of toasted malt, and a good level of fruitiness.
The flavor brings a nice toasted caramel flavor, with a bit of the mandarin orange flavor the description suggests. The finish is long, smooth, and very clean. The mouthfeel has a medium body with a low level of carbonation. Everything about this beer impressed me in some way, and I would definitley get it again.
