500ml bottle into tulip pint glass.
**I only think this is limited, for all I know it could be a permanent brew. I couldn't find this information anywhere.**
A: Pours an opaque black with a creamy 2 finger tan head. Looks great. Too dark to see the carbonation, but it seems to have only light activity.
S: Rich and deep - roasted malt, chocolate and toffee notes, coffee, hint of liquorice and a hint of dark fruits.
T: Coffee and almost smoky tastes just at the front. Hints of dark fuit in the middle, malty throughout. Nice sweet finish, chocolate I think. Slight dryness, very tasty.
M: Nice and smooth, medium to full bodied. Not at all watered down and fairly potent in the delivery of taste. Good drinkability too.
Overall: I'm generally not into stouts or porters, but I really enjoyed this. For me, it was on a par with (if not better than) Harviestoun's Old Engine Oil. Very tasty, would definitely recommend.
