Pours a gold color with medium haze. Aroma is piney, earthy and berries. Taste is a berry medley with some mango and piney bitterness on the back end. Mouth coating bitter finish, wonderful mouthfeel throughout. Amazing what you can do with just a single hop.

Can dated 03/06/2019 into an imperial pint glass.
L: Murky orange bronze with 1.5 fingers of medium density white head with good retention and left ringed lacing.
S: Nice nose, dankness with berries. Dank fades as the beerv warms. Very subtle citrus.
T: Pleasant, but takes a back seat to the nose. Mostly berries, little dank on the tongue. Finishes with slight acidity, mild bitterness, acidity lingers quite awhile on the palate.
F: Medium bodied with medium carbonation, full and lively on the tongue.
O: There's definitely single hop IPAs I like far more, e.g. Moonraker's and Fieldwork's, this one is nice and unique. Just really didn't care for the lingering acidity.

Sweet orange hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with juicy sweet notes and low IBUs. This is very smooth and very crushable. Decent depth and feel for a single.

Canned 3/6/19.
L: dull hazy yellow in appearance. About 2 fingers of a frothy white cap and appeasing amounts of residual lacing.
S: aromas of berry, mango, apricot and flaked oats.
T: pretty damn incredible. Tons of mango, berry, and citrus flavor that transcends through the whole flavor profile. Flaked oat flavor is also prevalent, adding a lush, bready and almost vanilla undertone.
F: soft, medium bodied, light to medium in weight. Great soft and creamy feel with appropriate carbonation.
O: Mosaic is not necessarily my favorite hop, especially in NEIPAs, but this is changing my mind. I would drink this repeatedly. At 6.5 AbV, this is all the more enjoyable. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

This beer is like a ticket to Sweden for Raul. Sure, it’s pleasant and nice, and I’m sure some people like it, but Raul ain’t into blondes, so Scandinavia ain’t gonna cut it. And right here we have a pleasant and nice beer (Raul’s expert palate can attest to that), but if it doesn’t make the grade, it doesn’t make the grade.
*I chalk this one up to Brouwerij West not being that good. Mosaic hops are great, but Brouwerij West is hit or miss...or average ;)
