BRAAAIIINNNNSSSS....are what we used when directing this terrifyingly delicious IPA with our friends at Three Chiefs. Hopped to the nines with Mosaic, Cashmere, and Comet, 'Situation In Sector 9 IPA' leaves every last taste bud abducted by flavors of zesty citrus, juicy peach, and dank resin, combined with an undying horde of Malted Barley, Raw Wheat, and Raw Oats make this a Mouth Matinee you won't want to miss!

Average like Der Wienershnitzel after you took a bong load. Which gets Raul wondering: why does Bdubs continue to brew the same IPA? Don’t get the Raul man wrong, they have released some bangers. But lately it’s been more par for the course like Tiger after staying up on an Ambien.

Four!

No canning date stamp on the can, but I know it was canned recently, meaning within the past week.
L: Let's check out and acknowledge this can art first. It is zombie and alien themed, with undead hands clinging up from the ground amidst alien aircraft scanners. It is hectic, colorful, and simply awesome. Now to the beer itself. It pours a light yellow in color with heavily hazy appearance. It it murky, opaque, and well, hazy. A finger of head yielded from the pour, settling quickly but leaving generous amounts of residual lacing.
S: Flaked oats stand out most, giving a bready aroma, followed by some citrus. Smells of sweet bread and mild fruit.
T: Fantastic. Flaked oat bready flavor sets the foundation, providing a sweet element to the flavor profile. Orange, tangerine and grapefruit stand out as far as citrus goes, as well as some flavors of pineapple, pomegranate and apple. Finish is sweet with oated presence.
F: Soft, smooth and pillowy. It is light in weight, giving it a nice lofty feel, but has a thicker body. No booze presence, just silky sailing.
O: A very enjoyable brew from Brouwerij West and Three Chiefs, and one of the most memorable Brouwerij West beers of late. I would drink again, and I hope they do another collab. As always, I am very glad to try. Cheers!
