Wow, this is tremendous. Fruity with a deep malty taste. All the barley (plus raw spelt and oats) contribute an interesting grainy taste instead of muck. The aroma is heady, with mango plus jasmine rice steaming. The coconut taste is just so intriguing, and there is sweet kumquat and tangerine. Slippery mouthfeel with lush carbonation.
The Sabro hop is one I hope will get more airplay. I loved it in Stone's Liberty Station "Lupulin Loop: Sabro," and my favorite IPA on a Canadian trip was "Neon Friday" from Upstreet Brewing (Charlottetown, PEI) that used Sabro along with Vic Secret. From the 16 oz can purchased at one of the SoCal Barons Markets, always a dependable beer store.
