Deep golden in color and almost see through with a decent white head, this looks decent. Decent if a bit understated hop nose. The flavor is decent here with the citrus/grapefruit ending a bit piney with a bite. Decent carbonation and a medium thin feel. This is decent.

Hops are listed as Citra, New Zealand Wai-Iti, and Vic Secret, a winning combination in my estimation. Pours a clear golden amber with plenty of foam. In the mouth it is sweet and slushy with a substantial malty body. Aromatic with lemon and orange peel. Flavors of ripe green melon and papaya with a honey aftertaste.

I am reminded of a bock beer, with the sweetness, resiny hop note, and strong ABV, but this has lasting aromatics that lift it above the malty base. From the 16 oz can purchased at one of the beer specialty stores. I don't see a date. Wish I had more.

Deep gold a good clarity following initial chill haze; one finger of white foam head; very good cap retention; soapy lacing; heavy ring. Subtle bready malt nose; citrus hops as it warms. Light bready malt with a touch of lemon. Medium light body, moderate minus carbonation. A hoppy lager, woohoo, not for me...

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating.

Looks magnificent in the glass. Crystal clear pale golden yellow body with excellent carbonation. Big foamy white head persists to about an inch all the way down. Very good lacing.

Clean and crisp aroma, a touch of fruit.

On tasting, goes down very easily. Abv well hidden. A little malt, a touch floral, crisp and clean. Nice drink.

Mouth above medium, finish grassy and a light sweetness.

Overall, very well brewed IPL. Enjoyed it immensely.

So I haven't reviewed anything in over a month, because I caught COVID the day after my last review and my sense of smell has yet to fully recover. The world is so much less colorful without a functioning nose and it saddens me, but the little smells I catch here and there give me hope that my life will not be dulled this way forever. However, I am almost certain that this is an amazing beer and I am most certainly happy to see some more representation of the IPL style.

It pours with a mostly clear straw yellow body and a modest amount of bone white head, but with excellent retention and profuse lacing. I usually love the can art from these guys, but this one seems a little silly to me.

What I can pick up from the nose are aromas of white peach, cara cara, and some herbal notes that I am having trouble placing at the moment.

On the palate, I also get some citrusy orange and grapefruit notes, as well as a creamy peach nectar presence, hints of cracker and lager funk with a finish of...something bitter and herbal. Spruce?

The texture here is super smooth for such a hoppy beer. Although it doesn't have as much bite as a corresponding ale would, it feels lighter than said ale would be, and manages to still come off as crisp and fresh, but in a gentler way.

I hope that someday I return to edit this review and laugh at how much I missed, but missing one of the five senses does not feel very comical in this moment. Cheers everyone. Stay healthy and keep enjoying life!

Clear straw color with a finger of head. Heavy lacing left down the glass. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit with a bit of dankness. The flavor is less fruity and more piney and herbal with a light dank in the finish. Bitterness is not really a thing anymore and this beer is hardly different. Medium body and adequately carbonated. Smoothly textured. Interesting beer with the use of the new school hops.
