On tap at Mohawk Bend in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spice, yeast, earth, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and earthy flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of woody bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an earthy citrus zest quality that is done nicely.
