Nice brewery in a good location. Is walkable to and from downtown areas. They had a food truck when I was there, 3/22. Which was awesome. Beers were solid. I recommend checking out.

Great staff. Great beer. Varying selection of special beers and pilots. The location is great and they have food trucks rotating all summer and weekends year round. Live music on sunny days. You are missing out if you never check this place out.

Nothing fancy about it, but it works. Great meeting area for the after work folks for a casual beer with friends, either new or known. I would go there again next time in town and being close to WholeFoods and Trader Joe's has to be a plus for Rising Tide

Cool spot in a sketchy part of town. Huge outdoor patio area. Huge garage doors that were opened up for the gorgeous day. Industrial no frills inside. They are right next door to the Maine Craft Distillery. I don't know if they share a food truck, but someone was out there slinging BBQ.

Big tasting room with a large bar and a few picnic tables in the building. High ceilings, garage doors, and white walls make this a bright place. There were 11 beers available the day of my visit, and the few pints I had were good and fresh. Friendly service here, and the only negative is the bad music selection. Lots of folks visiting, all seem to be be happy with the beers they were having. Worthy of a trip.

Stopped on our way through Portland on a two week beergrimige across the U.S. They had some good beer, but I wouldn't put it on the "best breweries in the U.S. list". The atmosphere was nice, especially on a beautiful June day.

Dog Friendly!

Large, warehouse-like structure a short distance from Portland's downtown. Considering the city's smallish size and incredible density of good breweries, I'm always shocked at how busy every place seems. It's like everyone here does nothing but drink.

Anyhow, we stopped by around 5 on a Saturday and it was packed. The crowd was good-natured, mostly in their 30s-40s. The tap room is expansive but there's not all that much seating, considering. The decor is sparse and wooden, charmingly under-decorated. It was also peaceful, in spite of the crowd; no music, and if there was a TV I don't remember it.

They had about 10 house beers on draft, and all drafts were 3 bucks for a 12 ounce pour. That's amazing.

The beers were all solid but nothing really blew my socks off.

Like Allagash, Rising Tide's beers are distributed beyond the greater Portland area, and so the hype to come visit this brewery isn't as intense as that surrounding Bissell or Foundation. The beers are all good, though, and the value is unbeatable, so you should definitely stop here if you're in town.

It took us a while to find, but we're glad we did. Fun place to hang even though it is in an industrial area that is a bit run down. Ample outdoor seating, pretty decent indoor seating. The staff was VERY good on their knowledge of the beers and really helpful in talking me into doubling my purchase of their Gose... Sampled four beers, two were very good and the other two were OK. Very laid back atmosphere even though they were fairly busy. Behind the counter, things looked very chaotic in the warehouse/brewery area but it didn't impact the visit, just something noticeable. Worthwhile stop.

While the interior set up wasn't ideal for a crowd on a 90+ degree day, the beers were cold & delicious. I enjoyed a Maine Island Trail Ale, light & crisp.

Really fun brewery. Plenty of places to stand indoors and a bunch of umbrella'd picnic tables outside. 7 beers on tap when we went. Growlers, flights and 10 ounce tasters available for a very reasonable price. Would definitely visit again

Pretty neat place, the brewery is visible in the background, with typical beer stuff hanging everywhere on the walls, and stacks of their beer in front. Small counter, but it's OK since it doesn't seem to get too busy. They have a few pours to offer from their current offerings, and you can sit outside on picnic tables which is nice, although it's more of an industrial area and somewhat busy roads so not the best scenery.

Next door is a neat little distillery I would suggest also checking out. The brewery itself a little further from the beaten path, not in the middle of all the other happenings, but not too far from the Oxbow blending place, so it's worth the stop in if you're nearby.

Great people, cool space, lots of offerings. A staple on the Portland beer circuit. Near lots of other cool stuff - Coffee By Design, Urban Farm Fermentory, Portland farmers market - and worth making a part of your day.

Stopped in over the weekend after Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp and had a great time trying their beers. They are located downtown Portland in a little industrial park. A small tasting room which had a full view of their brewing system and smaller tables outside with a Food Truck on the weekends.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and guided us through a full tour of their beer lineup. The samples and full pours are both reasonably priced and they have about 8 beers on tap. I enjoyed all their beers and specifically liked the Maine Trail Ale and Zephyr. I would definitely recommend checking out all their beers if you get the chance.

They offer bottles, cans and growlers to go which are all at a reasonable price. They also sell tshirts, hats, hoodies, etc.

I would definitely recommend checking this place out. A standard small brewery space with great beers and people. Cheers!

When I visited rising tide they were in the first few months of opening.. nothing fancy, more of a warehouse turned brewery with a small home type bar as the tasting area. They had 4 styles on tap but the Ursa Minor was the clear winner and I brought home a bottle. Very nice staff who were friendly and answered all questions. They make good ass Beer.
